The successful candidate will assist in lesson preparation, classroom management, student discipleship, and extracurricular support, in line with ACSI guidelines and MSA standards. This role requires a passion for Christian education, a servant-hearted attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment. Key Responsibilities - Support the lead Bible teacher in planning and delivering Christ-centered lessons.
- Assist with classroom organization, displays, and preparation of learning materials.
- Supervise classes and activities when the lead teacher is absent.
- Encourage studentsâ spiritual growth through prayer, biblical counsel, and positive role modeling.
- Support differentiated instruction for varied learning needs, including Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
- Help assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher.
- Participate in staff devotions, professional development, and school events (including some evenings and weekends).
- Assist with extracurricular activities, student supervision, and community events as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience Required: - Bachelorâs degree in Education, Biblical Studies, Theology, or a related field.
- Active personal commitment to Jesus Christ and alignment with Heritage International Schoolâs Statement of Faith.
- At least one year of experience working with students in a school, church, or youth ministry setting.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Preferred: - Experience supporting Bible instruction in a classroom setting.
- Familiarity with ACSI and MSA standards for Christian education.
- Proficiency with educational technology tools.
