This role is responsible for promoting and selling our high-quality roasted coffee products, building strong customer relationships, and driving sustainable sales growth. The role reports directly to the Commercial Manager Key Accountabilities - Attain in-depth knowledge of our roasted coffee products including flavor profiles, origins and brewing methods.
- Meet or exceed sales targets by identifying opportunities to sell through reaching out to potential new customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and support, answering questions and making recommendations as well as ensuring the retention of existing customers.
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity and customer preferences and provide timely feedback to the commercial team.
- Ensure product availability in assigned stores, monitor inventory levels, working closely with store teams to prevent stockouts.
- Ensure stock is properly displayed on shelves
- Ensure pricing in stores correctly, in line with company guidelines (no overpricing beyond set retail price).
- Support store stock counts, product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns, engaging customers and driving sales.
- Provide accurate, timely reporting on inventory levels and performance of the different customers
- Work collaboratively with the production and distribution teams to resolve challenges.
Requirements Skills and Experience - Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration.
- 2-3 yearsâ experience in merchandising, retail operations, or trade marketing (FMCG preferred).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stores.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and organization.
- Must possess a valid Class B driverâs licence and be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
