Job Title:  Sales Manager Organisation: ITHUBA Uganda Limited Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda Reports to: Lottery Operations Specialist  About Organisation: ITHUBA Uganda Limited is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization in Africa within the exciting world of Lottery and Gaming. ITHUBA Uganda Limited was recently licensed to run the National Lottery on behalf of the Government of Uganda. Key Duties and Responsibilities: - At ITHUBA Uganda, our sales team is the powerhouse that drives our product offerings and the channels that is used to deliver them to our clients. This is done by expanding our online player base, onboarding of participating retailers, integration with B2B partners, and delivering innovative solutions that meet diverse client needs.
- The right candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the entire sales lifecycle, from prospecting and lead generation to nurturing client relationships and closing deals that drive revenue growth.
- This role demands more than just sales expertise; we are looking for visionary leader who can set ambitious targets, motivate the team to exceed them, and develop strategies that enhance our competitive edge in the market. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with exceptional negotiation skills, a proven track record of consistently meeting or surpassing targets, and the ability to inspire the same level of dedication and success in others.
- He/she should be adept at using data-driven insights to make decisions, identify market trends, and adjust strategies on the fly to capture new opportunities where the National Lottery Products can be distributed.
- We are looking for someone who can lead by example, mentoring and developing a team to achieve their full potential while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field; Master’s degree and CIM or ISMM certification desirable.
- Over 5 years managing sales in a corporate setting, with proven success in the sales process, and experience in Lottery or Gaming sales and FMCG analytics
- Proven track record in managing the full sales process from planning to closing, with added experience in Lottery/Gaming and FMCG analytics
- Strong knowledge of sales trends, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and excellent communication, planning, and leadership abilities.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, with expertise in sales analytics and managing the sales process from planning to closing.
- Strong analytical, sales, and negotiation skills, with excellent time management, business acumen, and leadership abilities. Able to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
