The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, selling insurance products, and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities: - Promote and sell life, health, general, or other insurance products to individuals and corporate clients.
- Identify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and field visits.
- Educate customers on the various insurance policies and tailor solutions based on client needs.
- Conduct needs analysis to determine suitable insurance coverage.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals and quotations.
- Follow up with prospective clients and close sales.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Assist in after-sales service and policy renewals.
- Participate in sales training, marketing campaigns, and team meetings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines from the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda (IRA).
Qualifications & Requirements: - ‘O’level, ’A’ level, Diploma, Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field
- No experience required
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Must possess integrity and a high level of professionalism.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of local languages is an added advantage.
