Sales Executive BJM 2025-10-07T18:15:51+00:00 FULL_TIME Bujumbura Kampala 00256 Uganda Transportation Sales & Retail 2025-10-24T17:00:00+00:00 Uganda 8 Job Purpose: The Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase passenger and cargo revenue, enhance market presence, and strengthen customer relationships in Burundi. The role involves engaging with travel agents, corporate clients, and partners to promote Uganda Airlines services while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and key stakeholders.
- Promote Uganda Airlines products and services through sales visits, presentations, and promotional events.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to recommend strategic actions.
- Maintain updated records of sales activities, contracts, and performance reports.
- Work closely with the reservations and ticketing teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Support marketing initiatives and participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns.
- Provide after-sales support and promptly resolve customer issues or complaints.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Country Manager.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelorâs degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certificate in IATA or Airline Sales will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 yearsâ experience in sales, preferably in the aviation, travel, or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, market development, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- High level of integrity, results-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and computer-based sales systems.
- Fluency in English and French; knowledge of Kirundi or Kiswahili is an added advantage.
