JOB DETAILS: Job Summary: The Sales and Marketing Lead will drive revenue growth and brand awareness for Divine Bamboo by developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong sales background, leadership skills, and a passion for impactful work. Key Responsibilities • Sales Strategy & Execution - Develop and implement sales and pricing strategies that align with Divine Bamboo’s goals, considering market trends and customer needs. Define clear sales targets, create budgets, and guide the sales team in prospecting, lead generation, and client negotiations. Manage payment processes and credit policies, while promoting briquettes through targeted marketing campaigns to increase adoption in key market segments. • Marketing Strategy and Campaigns: - Develop and implement multi-channel marketing strategies, managing content calendars and campaigns to enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and boost customer engagement. Collaborate with teams to create impactful marketing materials and manage digital marketing channels for optimal results. Measure and evaluate marketing effectiveness, using data insights to guide decisions. • Stakeholder Management -Develop and implement a partnership model to engage stakeholders, including development actors and CBOs, to expand market reach and drive sales growth. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary contact for inquiries and support. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance brand loyalty and collaborate on retention strategies. Maintain a robust client database and manage distributor networks by negotiating agreements, providing ongoing support, and equipping distributors with the tools needed to promote and sell briquettes effectively. • Market Research - Conduct market research to identify target audiences, trends, and competitive positioning, using insights to refine marketing strategies. Monitor competitor activities, industry developments, and regulatory changes to stay informed. Analyze sales and marketing data to optimize strategies based on customer behaviour and campaign performance. Continuously explore best practices and innovations in sales and marketing to keep Divine Bamboo competitive and adaptable in the marketplace. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education. • Experience in the energy sector (2 - 5 years ), particularly in selling energy products like briquettes, stoves, or related technologies, is preferred but not mandatory. • Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. • Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and emerging market trends to inform business strategies. • Proven experience in sales management with a successful track record in meeting sales targets. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and team members. • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics for informed decision-making. • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities focused on driving results. • Experience in managing leads, pipelines, and client relationships, with a focus on driving customer engagement and retention.
