The role involves monitoring route purchases, verifying transactions, and ensuring all plastic collection and payment processes are accurate and transparent. Job Purpose: To ensure smooth, transparent, and accurate route purchase operations for plastic materials at the Mbale Collection Hub. The role supports verification of transactions, proper record-keeping, and compliance with company procedures to maintain accountability and efficiency in the plastic collection process. Key Responsibilities - Monitor and verify all route purchase transactions for plastic materials collected from field agents and suppliers.
- Ensure accurate recording of weights, rates, and payments in the purchase system.
- Cross-check physical receipts, supplier records, and digital entries to confirm accuracy and prevent fraud.
- Supervise daily cash payments and reconcile them with system reports and supporting documentation.
- Verify quality, grade, and sorting of plastics before final acceptance at the hub.
- Support data entry, analysis, and generation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Liaise with transporters, agents, and hub teams to ensure a timely and transparent flow of materials.
- Identify discrepancies or process gaps and promptly report them to the Hub Manager or relevant department.
- Ensure all route purchase and verification activities comply with company policies, environmental standards, and safety guidelines.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accountability.
Qualifications & Experience - A Level/Bachelorâs degree/Diploma in any Arts/science disciplines.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations, administration, or supply chain management (manufacturing or recycling sector preferred).
- Proficiency in the native language of the region/workstation is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have a motorcycle permit.
- Must be between 24-28 years minimum.
- High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Integrity, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
