- Assist with the completion of compliance reviews and risk assessments.
- Monitoring action plans arising from compliance reviews, audit and risk assessments.
- Gathering information to support the completion of Department reports.
- Maintaining departmental registers.
- Monitoring the emails to the Risk and Compliance department to ensure all activities are promptly attended to.
- Assisting with the monitoring of regulatory and legislative changes and the follow-up of action plans developed to ensure compliance with the same.
- Other responsibilities and projects assigned.
SKILLS - Excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
- Teamwork skills
- Integrity and professional ethics
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in Ms Office
EXPERIENCE (Including sector/industry) Proven experience as a Compliance Assistant or similar role with a minimum of 3 years. Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards. PROFESSIONAL DEGREE / CERTIFICATION - BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration or related field.
