Retail Merchandising Supervisor job at Adent Consulting

Core Function:

• To oversee product presentation, maximize shelf presence, and drive sales across retail outlets, supermarkets, and key distribution accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate a team of field merchandisers to ensure products are prominently displayed, well-stocked, and correctly priced across all retail points.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with supermarket branch managers, floor supervisors, and procurement officers to secure optimal shelf space (eye-level placement, end-caps).
• Monitor stock levels at the retail level to prevent stock-outs, track product expiry dates, and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO).
• Deploy and maintain Point-of-Sale (POS) marketing materials, banners, and promotional displays effectively.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing, promotions, and new product launches, providing regular reports to management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in retail merchandising or FMCG sales coordination
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent negotiation abilities.
