The role provides technical product training and coaching to Customer Champions, Oil Specialists, Mechanic Specialists, and site teams, enabling them to confidently recommend and sell the appropriate lubricant solutions to customers Responsibilities or duties - Drive sales of lubricant products and value-added services across assigned retail locations.
- Promote the full lubricant product range by engaging customers and site teams.
- Identify opportunities to increase lubricant penetration, customer loyalty, and revenue generation.
- Support the execution of lubricant marketing campaigns, promotions, and retail business initiatives.
- Provide accurate technical guidance to customers and site teams on appropriate lubricant selection and application.
- Train and coach Customer Champions, Mechanic Specialists, Oil Specialists, and forecourt staff on lubricant products and service standards.
- Promote correct oil change procedures and under-bonnet service practices.
- Support teams in delivering professional, customer-focused vehicle care services.
- Support retail sites in achieving lubricant sales targets and service quality standards.
- Ensure lubricant products are correctly displayed, merchandised, and available to customers.
- Monitor stock levels, maintain accurate stock records, and communicate replenishment requirements.
- Ensure lubrication service areas are maintained in line with HSSE and housekeeping requirements.
- Promote a strong HSSE culture and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Encourage safe working practices during lubricant handling, storage, and service activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety and operational standards.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills) - Minimum Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
- Advanced Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related technical qualification is preferred.
- Valid driver's licence.
Experience needed - Experience in the automotive, fuel, lubricants, mechanical, or related industry is preferred.
- Previous experience in lubricant sales, automotive service, or technical customer support is an advantage.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, supervising, or leading teams is desirable.
- Ability to engage customers and frontline teams in a commercial environment.
Competencies - Basic understanding of automotive systems, engines, and lubricant applications.
- Ability to explain lubricant product benefits and recommend suitable products based on customer needs.
- Understanding of sales and marketing principles.
- Ability to interpret product information and technical documentation.
- Basic inventory management and merchandising knowledge.
- Intermediate numeracy skills for sales recording and reporting.
Working Environment - This role involves working primarily within retail service stations, forecourts, and customer-facing environments.
- Regular interaction with customers, site teams, mechanics, and operational stakeholders.
- Requires frequent travel between assigned retail locations.
- May involve outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Requires adherence to strict HSSE requirements, including safe handling and storage of lubricant products.
- The role requires flexibility, mobility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced commercial environment.
