Our work focuses on generating data-driven insights to inform policy, programs, and decision-making processes. Job Summary: We are seeking qualified and experienced Research Assistants/Enumerators to support data collection activities for an upcoming research study. The successful candidates will be responsible for conducting field interviews, administering surveys, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of collected data. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in diverse settings. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct field data collection through interviews, surveys, and focus group discussions. • Ensure accuracy and completeness of collected data by following study protocols and guidelines. • Use digital data collection tools (e.g., tablets, mobile apps) where applicable. • Engage with community members and stakeholders in a professional and ethical manner. • Transcribe and translate interviews. • Adhere to ethical research guidelines, including obtaining informed consent from respondents. • Submit daily reports and participate in debriefing meetings with the research team. Qualifications and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in any field (Social Sciences, Statistics, Public Health, Economics, or related fields preferred). • At least two (2) years of experience in data collection for research studies, surveys, or evaluations. • Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. • Proficiency in using data collection tools such as ODK, KoboToolbox, or SurveyCTO is an added advantage. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work in diverse environments and travel to field locations as required. • Fluency in one of the following languages; Kiswahili, Lusoga, Lugbara, Pokot/Ng’akarimojong, Ateso, Acholi, Kupsabiny, Runyakole, Lukonzo and Japadhola. Work Hours: 8
