Request For Expression Of Interest (Reoi) For Construction/Renovation Of Health Infrastructure Under Dos Uganda Health Activity tender at University Research Co., LLC (URC )

URC was awarded a 5-year cooperative agreement, the USG-funded Uganda Health Activity (UHA) to implement an integrated health delivery project for 7 subregions (Eastern, East Central, Acholi, Lango, Karamoja, Ankole, and Kigezi) of Uganda.

The Uganda Health Activity supports the Government of Uganda’s (GOU’s) efforts to increase the survival and well-being of its population and improve overall health system resilience in seven priority regions. The program is mandated to strengthen the quality and availability of MNC, nutrition, and facility-level WASH services as well as health systems strengthening at the regional, district-, facility-, and community-levels.

In a bid to fulfill its mandate, UHA carried out assessments of health infrastructure needs across the 7 supported regions in Uganda with an overall goal to improve access to health facilities through having functional renovated/constructed health facilities.

Solicitation
A. Amidst the above background, URC/DOS-UHA is seeking for qualified, eligible firms (“offerors”) to fulfill its immediate and future needs for construction/renovation/remodeling works in line with Ministry of Health Infrastructure priorities.

B. Interested parties shall respond to this Request for Expression of Interest (REOI), which intends to create a list of pre-qualified firms that will be invited to submit their quotations for all the current and future construction/renovation/remodeling works under UHA.

C. Successful offers shall be listed for future opportunities to participate in a simplified competitive process and submit quotations for specific works/services. This mechanism will allow URC to procure anticipated construction works through a streamlined yet efficient process. (Firms that were already prequalified/listed with URC Uganda Health Activity under EOI FY26-UHA-10, should not re-apply)

Bidding Instructions

1. The subject of Procurement is “Expression of Interest to Participate in Construction and/or Renovation Works under Uganda Health Activity”
2. Interested eligible firms may obtain further information and the Solicitation Documents by writing an email request to UHAProcurementurc-chs.com. For any request for clarification, please write to same email address not later than 21st August 2026.
3. The detailed solicitation document/REOI is also available at URC website under partnerships/solicitations.
4. Sealed bids including only detailed administrative/eligibility and technical capacity of the applicants and marked with the procurement subject, addressed to the Chief of Party shall be hand delivered not later than Monday 31st August 2026 to URC-UHA physical address below.
