Reference: Original Bid Notice published in the New Vision Newspaper on Friday, 10th July, 2026. Makindye SSabagabo Municipal Council wishes to inform all prospective bidders and the general public of the following changes to the bid notice under the different categories as published in the New Vision Newspaper on 10th July 2026. The bid submission deadline has been extended to allow Bidders especially the Special Interest Groups (SIGs), including Youth, Women and Persons with Disabilities, adequate time to complete their registration on the PPDA Register of Providers. This Addendum No. 1 to the Invitation for bids as per details there in; changes have been made as follows: -
Removal of Bid Security- waived for procurements advertised under the above-mentioned bid notice. Consequently, bidders are required to submit Bid Securing declarations with their bids. -
The deadline for bid submission is: 7th August, 2026 Time: 10:00 am -
The bid opening shall be: 7th August, 2026, Time: 11:00 am -
Response to any request for clarification shall be no later than 30th July, 2026 at 4:30 pm -
The rest of the provisions in the Bid document remain unchanged -
All other instructions, requirements, terms and conditions contained in the original bidding documents and the bid notice published on 10th July 2026 remain unchanged -
Bidders are required to pick the revised bidding document, Pre-bid minutes and any further ensuing clarifications from: The Procurement & Disposal Unit, Makindye SSabagabo Municipal Council. The Office of the Prime Minister has allocated funds for the procurement of one (01) station wagon. -
The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies. -
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open only to National bidders. -
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:00am to 5:00pm on working days. -
The Bidding documents may be Picked by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) at no fee. -
Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before 11:00am on 6th August, 2026. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration. Bid Securing Declaration must be valid until 5th January, 2027. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) at 6th August, 2026. -
There shall not be a pre â bid meeting. -
