The role is responsible for offering the best customer experience to the assigned clientele to ensure retention and growth of business through a deeper understanding of the clientâs business and operations, enabling the bank to grow its share of wallet by meeting the clientâs business needs. Responsibilities/Key Deliverables - Develop and manage strategic relationships with Resources and Energy sector clients to drive long term business growth and client satisfaction.
- Originate new business opportunities and grow revenue through lending, transaction banking, trade finance, treasury, and capital markets solutions.
- Act as the primary relationship lead, understanding clientsâ business needs and delivering tailored financial solutions.
- Conduct credit analysis, prepare credit proposals, and ensure prudent management of credit and portfolio risks.
- Structure and execute complex transactions, including project finance, syndicated loans, and structured financing solutions.
- Provide clients with industry insights on market trends, regulatory developments, commodity markets, and energy transition opportunities.
- Collaborate with product, risk, legal, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions and seamless transaction execution.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and governance standards while maintaining strong portfolio quality and profitability.
Financial Responsibility: Revenue growth, portfolio quality and profitability of the assigned Resources & Energy client portfolio (lending, transaction banking, trade finance, treasury and capital markets solutions). Education & Training: University graduate (Honours degree). Skills & Experience: - 6 yearsâ experience in banking, of which 4 years should be in Corporate relationship management & sales.
- Skills in Sales, Credit & Relationship Management will be an added advantage.
- Track record in sales management.
- Sales skills.
- Stakeholder management.
- Computer knowledge especially spreadsheet, Word & PowerPoint.
- Relevant business experience and acumen.
