Position Relationship Manager â Institutional Banking Reports to Manager Liabilities Department Institutional Banking Key Responsibilities - Acquisition of profitable new business relationships to achieve defined sales targets with major focus on liabilities to grow the market share in line the Bankâs strategic direction.
- Grow assets as per set targets.
- Identify business opportunities within the existing portfolio and establish mechanisms of growing customer relationships with the Bank.
- Manage and mine assigned deposit portfolio as per the branch attached.
- Market all Bank products to the market in line with the Bankâs defined segments, set targets and strategic objective.
- Make daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly customer visits and call reports in a bid to monitor and grow the customer base.
- Responsible for supporting and growing the business of the branch one is attached to.
- Prepare weekly activity reports and submit them to the Team Leader Liabilities SME.
- Review and maintain a comprehensive database of existing relationships / prospects and establish ways of retaining and growing the portfolios in compliance with the Bankâs policies and procedures.
- Recommend changes required to meet the set targets and customer expectations in line with the Bankâs policy and procedure.
- Carry out account plans and visits for all customers within the Portfolio.
- Cross selling all Bank products. e.g FX, Trade Finance etc.
- Attend all weekly business meetings and always keep time.
Education - A Bachelorâs degree in a Business Related field.
- Professional qualification in banking e.g. MBA as an added advantage.
Experience - Minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role, in a financial institution
