- Infection control and safety. Follow protocols for infection prevention and control.
- Antenatal Care. Conduct regular check-ups for pregnant women,
- Labor and Delivery. Assist and support women through labor and childbirth, monitor the condition of mother and baby during delivery.
- Emergency Care. Recognize and manage obstetric emergencies (e.g., postpartum hemorrhage, eclampsia), Initiate emergency interventions and ensure timely referral.
Person Specifications: Qualifications: - Must have a degree and a diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from a reputable institute.
- Must be registered with a valid practicing license from the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
Years of Experience: - Must be registered with a valid practicing license from the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
Skills: - Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; and
- Diligent attention to details
