Overall purpose of the job

To provide quality nursing care to pregnant mothers

Roles And Duties.

• Provide total care to mothers during pregnancy (antenatal) and after pregnancy (postnatal) through running special clinics.
• Participate in the continuous nursing coverage on wards, receive reports and effectively hand over to in-coming shift staff
• Manage obstetrical emergencies and consult the doctor on complicated cases Carry out observation on patients and maintain their records..
• Register and notify authorities about births and deaths of new born
