The Registered Midwife will provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care throughout pregnancy, labour, delivery, and the postnatal period. Key Responsibilities: - Provide antenatal and postnatal care to mothers.
- Monitor pregnancies and identify potential complications.
- Conduct and assist with safe deliveries according to professional standards.
- Provide immediate care to newborns and mothers after delivery.
- Educate mothers on breastfeeding, nutrition, family planning, and newborn care.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to obstetric emergencies.
- Maintain accurate maternity and patient records.
- Support reproductive and maternal health programmes.
Requirements: - Diploma or Degree in Midwifery/Nursing and Midwifery.
- Valid registration and practicing licence.
- Relevant experience in maternity care is preferred.
- Compassionate, professional, and able to work effectively in a team.
