The Main Campus sits on 50 acres of land. The University can be accessed via Mukombe Road, which connects the Kikungiri Campus to the Highway. An additional Campus is located on Plots 66-76 in Nyabikoni Parish in the Central Division of Kabale Municipality. Purpose To facilitate the Records Management function to ensure records security, appropriate maintenance and ease of accessibility. Responsibilities - Initiates, develops and implements programs, procedures and strategies for the records section in line with University policies.
- Develops work plans for records section in line with work targets.
- Implements and evaluates the effectiveness and impact of records policies.
- Sets up and monitors records management information systems or electronic data management systems.
- Periodically audits the University records management system.
- Coordinates the transition of records from semi current to archives.
- Identifies and reports risks and hazards or where appropriate take action to eliminate or mitigate against the risk occurring again
Requirements - Should have a Masters Degree in Information Science, Records and Archives Management, Library and Information Science, Information Technology or any other related field.
- Should have at least three (3) years working experience in records management in a reputable organization.
- Should have organizational skills.
- Should be computer literate.
- Should have good interpersonal relationship and communication skills.
