Role Overview As a Receptionist at ECO GROUP (U) LIMITED, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, embodying our commitment to excellent customer service. Your role is vital in managing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support within a dynamic team of two. We seek a communicative, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values integrity and patience. Position Details - Employment Type: Full-time - Location: Mukono (On-site) - Reporting Structure: Reports to the Director Key Responsibilities ⢠Operate telephone to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information as needed. ⢠Greet visitors, determine their needs, and direct them to the appropriate department. ⢠Receive payments and record receipts for services rendered. ⢠Schedule and maintain appointment calendars for staff. ⢠Provide information about the establishment, including locations and services. ⢠Perform various administrative tasks such as proofreading and transcribing documents. Requirements Essential Qualifications ⢠Education Requirements: Post-secondary Diploma in Secretarial Studies or related fields. ⢠Required Experience: 1-2 years in a similar role. ⢠Mandatory Skills: Speaking, Active Listening, Service, Reading Comprehension, Writing. ⢠Required Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and internet browsers. ⢠Required Certifications: Computer literacy. ⢠Language Requirements: Proficient in English, Luganda, and Swahili. Knowledge of Runyankole, Lusoga, and French is preferred. Preferred Qualifications ⢠Desired Additional Skills: Critical Thinking. ⢠Beneficial Experience: Experience in customer care. ⢠Preferred Certifications: Any certifications in customer service are an advantage. ⢠Additional Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with office management software.
