Key Activities and Responsibilities - Receive and prepare patients for radiographic examinations.
- Verify patient identity and examination requests.
- Perform radiographic procedures according to approved protocols.
- Position patients correctly and safely.
- Operate radiographic and imaging equipment.
- Apply appropriate radiation protection measures.
- Assess image quality and repeat examinations only when clinically justified.
- Maintain accurate imaging records.
- Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and properly maintained.
- Report equipment faults promptly.
- Maintain patient privacy and dignity.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
- Support appropriate handling and storage of imaging records.
Qualifications and Experience - Recognised qualification in Radiography/Medical Imaging.
- Registration with the relevant professional regulatory body.
- Valid practising licence.
- Relevant clinical experience is desirable.
