- Conduct routine checks of products at start-up, in-process, and finished product stages.
- Enforce good housekeeping in the production area.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene standards and sanitation procedures within the factory.
- Ensure proper labelling of the product for traceability.
Quality Control - Conduct routine laboratory in-process and finished product tests to ensure they meet set specifications.
- Carry out routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Process Control - Monitor key process parameters to ensure that fish feed is produced within the defined quality parameters.
- Monitor production processes for adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Liaise with production staff to rectify any quality non-conformance that arises during production.
Regulatory Compliance and Support - Ensure that all finished products comply with local and international standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all quality control activities.
Nonconformity Handling - Identify root causes for quality non-conformities and provide corrective and preventive actions for product or process improvement.
Documentation and Reporting - Maintain accurate records of inspection and laboratory testing on finished products and processes.
- Prepare quality control reports highlighting non-conformities and corrective actions taken.
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelors of Fisheries and Aquaculture / Aquatic Sciences / BSc in Chemistry.
EXPERIENCE - Experience: 1â2 years.
- Raw material production process.
- Familiar with fish industry.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
