The role targets direct clients, long-term equipment hire contracts, and civil works opportunities, while reducing reliance on brokers. Key Responsibilities - Acquire new clients for equipment hire and civil construction works.
- Secure long-term equipment hire contracts and civil works projects.
- Support the sale of company equipment
- Build and manage a strong direct sales pipeline.
- Prepare quotations and proposals for management approval.
- Negotiate strong payment terms, including advance payments.
- Follow up to ensure timely client payment.
- Maintain basic sales records and reports.
Requirements QUALIFICATIONS - 2â4 yearsâ experience in sales or business development.
- Knowledge or experience in the construction industry.
- Strong lead generation and closing skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Understanding of contract-based sales and payment terms.
- Results-oriented with focus on cash collection and profitability.
- Ability to work independently with high integrity.
- Demonstrated success in using CRM systems to drive sales performance and client acquisition
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
- Highly team-oriented with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Bonus Points. - Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field
- Possession of a valid driving license
