Purchase Of Global Navigation Satellite System (Gnss) Equipment For Land Acquisition tender at Ministry of Works and Transport (MoWT)

PURCHASE OF GLOBAL NAVIGATION SATELLITE SYSTEM (GNSS) EQUIPMENT FOR LAND ACQUISITION-MOWT/SUPLS/26-27/00001

1. The Ministry of Works and Transport has allocated funds for the acquisition of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Equipment for Land Acquisition.
2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:00p.m to 5:00 p.m. during working days from Mondays to Fridays.
5. The Bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX:100,000/= (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will cash payment in the bank.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before 8th October 2026 at 11:00a.m. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 10,000,000/=. The Bid Security must be valid until 10th May 2027. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d,) 8th October 2026 at 11.30a.m.
7. There shall be a Pre - bid meeting/ site visit at the Procurement and Disposal Unit, Plot 57-59, Jinja Road, P.O. Box 7174 Kampala, Uganda. 16th September 2026 at 11:00 a.m. as indicated in the proposed schedule in this notice.
8. Bidders should note the following:
   a. Documents may be inspected at: Ministry of Works and Transport, Procurement and Disposal Unit, Plot 57-59, Jinja Road, P.O. Box 7179, Kampala Uganda.
   b. Documents will be issued from: as in 8 (a) above
   c. Bids must be delivered to: as in 8 (a) above
   d. Address of bid opening: as in 8(a) above
9. The planned Procurement Schedule (subject to changes) is as follows:

Any form of Canvassing or Lobbying for the tender shall lead to automatic disqualification.
