About US:
Cycling out of Poverty (CooP-Uganda) supports students, health volunteers, farmers and small entrepreneurs with bicycles to improve access to basic needs and services as education, health care, work and income. We believe that a bicycle makes a difference in this world and is a huge contributor to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Our mission is to improve livelihood of African families by making bicycles and other mobility aids (such as wheelchairs, bicycle ambulances and cargo bikes) accessible and available for everyone in Africa.
Job Summary: Â Â The Public Relations and Communications Officer will perfectly communicate the impact of our work to diverse stakeholders, manage our media channels, onboard partners and increase the awareness about our social enterprises.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
To excel in the role you need to have at least 2-3 years of public relations, knowledge management, photography and graphic design
You need to be passionate about Cycling and Environmental stewardship
Having Experience in working with social enterprises and Non profit sector is added advantage
