Provision of Indoor Cleaning Services at Karuma Hydro Power Plant, Kiryandongo tender at Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited (UEGCL)

BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING
Provision of Indoor Cleaning Services at Karuma Hydro Power Plant, Kiryandongo: UEGCL/NCONS/2026-27/24531

1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited (UEGCL) has allocated funds for the Provision of Indoor Cleaning Services at Karuma Hydro Power Plant, Kiryandongo.
2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above Services.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding method procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at (8) from 9:00am – 4:00pm.
5. The bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below at (8) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be in the bank on Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited, Stanbic Bank, Operations A/C No. 9030011777327 upon which bidders shall present a bank slip as proof of payment. The document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at (8) or before 22nd October 2026 at 10:00am. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 5,000,000 /= (Uganda Shillings Five Million only) The Bid security must be valid until 21st May 2027. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at (8) at 10:20am on 22nd October 2026.
7. There shall be a mandatory pre-bid meeting/site visit at Karuma Hydro Power Station in Kiryandongo at 11:00 am on the date(s) indicated in the planned procurement schedule below.
