The role supports project teams in identifying risks, implementing control measures, promoting safe work practices, and ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Key Deliverables - Implement and monitor HSSE plans, procedures, and requirements across projects and operational activities.
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and compliance checks to identify risks and areas for improvement.
- Support project teams in hazard identification, risk assessments, and development of appropriate control measures.
- Monitor contractor HSSE performance and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Promote safe working practices through toolbox talks, safety briefings, awareness sessions, and coaching.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and support implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate HSSE records, reports, statistics, and performance dashboards.
- Support emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response planning.
- Ensure compliance with environmental requirements, waste management practices, and sustainability standards.
- Provide HSSE guidance and support during project planning, execution, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen HSSE performance and safety culture.
Expected Outcomes - Effective implementation of HSSE standards across projects and operations.
- Reduced workplace incidents, risks, and non-compliance issues.

Qualifications - Bachelorâs Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification in Occupational Health and Safety such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Training in environmental management, incident investigation, or risk assessment is desirable.
Experience - 3â5 yearsâ experience in HSSE, safety management, project support, construction, engineering, or operational environments.
- Experience implementing HSSE systems and monitoring compliance.
- Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Experience working with contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Experience in energy, oil & gas, manufacturing, or industrial environments is an advantage.
