Recruitment is contingent upon confirmation of funding by UNOCHA's Uganda Humanitarian Fund. Key Responsibilities - Implement assigned protection activities including community-based protection, protection awareness, peaceful coexistence, GBV/MHPSS awareness, and AAP activities
- Work alongside RWCs, community leaders, and community-based protection actors to identify protection concerns
- Identify and document protection concerns and individuals requiring referral to appropriate protection, GBV, MHPSS, health, WASH, or other services
- Conduct community mobilisation and sensitisation on protection, GBV prevention, available services, and feedback mechanisms
- Collect and maintain accurate information on protection activities, participants, referrals, and monitoring findings
- Prepare and submit timely activity reports, field updates, attendance records, and referral documentation
Requirements - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Social Work, Development Studies, Human Rights, Community Development, International Relations, Refugee Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience supporting protection, humanitarian, community development, or refugee-response programmes
- Practical experience in community mobilisation, protection awareness, identification and referral, AAP, or community-based protection
- Valid motorcycle riding permit is mandatory
- Prior experience working with Refugee-Led Organizations is a requirement
