A successful candidate will have the following: The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the design, implementation of programs and projects, build community capacities, provide technical support, mentor Development Facilitators (DFs), monitor and evaluate all FH programs within their assigned Area Program, ensuring alignment with FH's mission, Heartbeat and mindset values. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of community development principles with special attention to core areas in Child Engagement, Productive learning, Asset creation, Physical health and mental wellbeing and a commitment to serving vulnerable populations. Experience - A minimum of 3 years of experience in program management within the humanitarian or development sector, preferably with an NGO.
- Proven experience in managing multi-sectoral programs, including child Engagement (sponsorship), Asset creation (Livelihoods), Productive Learning (education), and Physical health and mental wellbeing (health).
Education/Certifications - A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Agriculture, Development Studies, Public Health, or a related discipline. A Post Graduate Diploma in Project planning and management is an added advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management and financial management.
