Agriculture is the backbone of Uganda and developing countries across the globe, yet most involved in agriculture have received a low quality education about the processes and materials required to produce enough food for themselves and their families. That’s where Field of Hope steps in.

Job Summary:   Are you passionate about agricultural education and empowering the next generation of farmers? Field of Hope, a Christian NGO, is hiring a Program Associate for our Youth Agriculture Education pillar in Uganda!

In this role, you’ll help inspire students to embrace agriculture and modern technologies, ensuring they gain the skills to run successful enterprises. Join us in building resilience in food and nutritional security through impactful education.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and evaluate agriculture school programs
• Support Agriculture Clubs and teacher training
• Collaborate with partners to develop educational materials

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture (Agricultural Education preferred)
• Experience teaching agriculture in secondary schools
• Enthusiasm for travel across Uganda
