ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Conduct market surveys and carry out supply and demand analyses to inform optimal sourcing and stocking of petroleum products.
- Continuously monitor and analyse the end-to-end process of importation, supply, and delivery of petroleum products to the OMCs including the related customer feedback to identify areas of improvement to facilitate operational efficiency.
- Continuously monitor and review global petroleum products supply, demand, and logistical information and provide timely reports to inform decision making and optimization of trading opportunities to enhance delivery of the company business objectives.
- Support the Products Trading Manager in reviewing and validating information received from various stakeholders, especially the supply partners, OMCs, and key enabling service providers, especially KPC and terminal operators providing services to the trading business.
- Participate in the development of a pricing strategy for the trading of petroleum products to optimally deliver the annual business targets.
- Provide technical input to the business support functions in collaboration to analyse trading business and operations processes to achieve continuous business processes improvements and achieve desired automation in line with the corporate strategic direction.
- Provide support to monitor trends in petroleum productsâ specifications, technology, industry performance and market requirements and implement approved initiatives to keep pace with the product specification trends for the sustainability of the business.
- Support the Trading Team to analyse the performance of the OMCs to inform the customer portfolio management initiative to ensure service prioritization of key customers and support the growth of the identified indigenous OMCs to meet the national content objectives.
- Support the Trading Operations Team to analyse the end-to-end logistical operations and identify areas for optimization of the processes to inform continuous improvements and efficiency.
- Support the Products Trading Manager in analysing performance data and related information to guide engagements and timely information sharing with key products trading stakeholders to achieve the desired stake-holding objectives/outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within UNOC to encourage idea generation and building of company-wide business linkages to achieve desired strategic goals.
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor(s).
Qualifications & Experience - Bachelorâs Degree (Hons) in Statistics, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Studies, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- A minimum of four (4) years demonstrable working experience in business information/performance analysis, supply chain analysis, financial analysis or related fields.
- Relevant specialised training in Petroleum Products Trading will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in petroleum products or crude oil information/data analysis will be added advantage.
