Your work will drive efficiency, quality, and full compliance with industry and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities - Develop, review, and update SOPs in line with Uganda seed laws, ISTA, HACCP, ISO, and health & safety requirements
- Collaborate with section managers and Quality Assurance to embed best practices
- Monitor compliance through audits, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions
- Deliver training sessions and build team capacity for consistent SOP adherence
- Maintain accurate documentation and report on compliance status and improvements
- Contribute to continuous process enhancement for greater efficiency and quality
- As a case study manage one business unit for a to be agreed time.
Requirements - Masterâs degree in Agriculture, Agronomic Sciences, Agricultural Engineering, or related field is a MUST. Bachelorâs degree in Agriculture related course.
- 2â3 yearsâ experience in production management or SOP coordination in seed/agro-industry (hybrid maize experience advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of seed industry standards and regulations
- Excellent skills in documentation, auditing, training, and communication
- Proficient in MS Office; collaborative, detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
