- Manage the entire procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, conducting tenders, negotiating contracts, and selecting suppliers.
- Review supplier proposals, negotiate prices and terms, and ensure purchases are cost effective.
- Maintain and update the supplier database and monitor supplier performance regularly.
- Work closely with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and plan accordingly.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and processes.
- Prepare and keep accurate records, reports, and documentation related to procurement.
- Support efforts to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with the finance and other departments to ensure budgets are followed and payments are made on time.
- Maintain purchase records and other procurement data for all MOGO operations.
- Conduct monthly stock counts at branches and prepare corresponding reports.
- Perform any other duties assigned by your supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS - A bachelorâs degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in tracking and managing company assets and maintaining asset registers is important for this role.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of assets and procurement transactions.
- Knowledge of inventory and asset tracking systems is an added advantage.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity and work ethics.
