- Conduct thorough market research to identify qualified, reliable, and competitively priced suppliers; prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and formal tender documents.
- Raise, authorise, and track all purchase orders, managing contracts from award through to delivery and final payment.
2 Stock Management, Compliance, and Vendor Relations - Maintain minimum stock levels for critical machine spare parts, hydraulic fluids, lubricants, filters, tyres, and PPE consumables.
- Ensure all procurement activities are conducted with the highest standards of transparency, impartiality, and professional ethics, supporting internal and external audits.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with all approved suppliers, formally evaluating vendor performance at least twice per year.
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S A N D R E Q U I R E M E N T S REQUIREMENT DETAIL Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration Professional Certification CIPS membership is an advantage Experience Minimum 8 years' procurement experience in a logistics, port, ICD, or industrial environment Systems Proficiency Proficiency in ERP or procurement management software and Microsoft Office Suite Integrity Unimpeachable personal integrity and commitment to ethical, transparent procurement practice - Develop and maintain a comprehensive annual procurement plan aligned with the depot's operational and financial planning cycles.
