PROCESS MAINTENANCE ENGINEER â OFFICER Job Purpose To oversee maintenance and reliability of pharmaceutical production-process equipment, ensuring equipment availability, safe operation and compliance with GMP requirements. Key Duties and Responsibilities - Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of process equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and process-equipment faults.
- Monitor equipment performance and reliability.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Develop and maintain preventive-maintenance schedules.
- Investigate recurring equipment failures.
- Coordinate maintenance contractors and technicians.
- Review maintenance work orders and completion reports.
- Maintain equipment history and maintenance records.
- Support equipment qualification and validation activities.
- Ensure maintenance work complies with GMP and safety requirements.
- Support spare-parts planning and inventory control.
- Participate in shutdown and planned maintenance activities.
- Prepare maintenance reports and performance indicators.
- Support audits and inspections.
Qualifications & Experience - Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3â4 years of relevant experience.
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is required/preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial process equipment.
