This role involves monitoring the printing machine operations, analyzing performance data, and making recommendations for improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machinery operations and be proactive in identifying areas for optimization. Job Description - Printing quality should be maintained at all times. This applies from plate setting and the actual printing.
- Printing specifications from the artwork to the specific roll to be printed will be availed before printing commences.
- Before starting any printing job, after plate setting, the quality assistant must approve the sample.
- All roll details must be recorded before and after printing.
- During printing, regular checks, both visual and technical, must be done and recorded by the attendant to maintain the printing quality.
- The printing quantity should be adhered to strictly to avoid making excess bags.
- After printing, the machine has to be cleaned properly according to the machine standard procedure.
- During preventive maintenance the machine and anilox rollers should be properly cleaned.
- Any faults during printing should be relayed to the maintenance team promptly to avoid further damage to the machine and recorded in the production book.
- To prepare the machines for printing and ensuring the machines are in good operational condition.
- All safety gears and protocols should be strictly followed all through the printing process.
Job Requirements - Diploma in Petroleum, mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of machine operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
