Responsibilities or duties: - Providing technical team leadership for effective quality control of survey programmes and activities;
- Drafting and submitting workplans, budgets, and technical reports to the Assistant Commissioner;
- Providing technical support and guidance in resolving boundary disputes;
- Supervising survey staff and updating survey records;
- Assessing control data for construction projects;
- Providing technical supervision and training to stakeholders on cadastral and plane surveys;
- Supervising and appraising subordinate staff;
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications or requirements: - Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honoursâ Bachelorâs Degree in Geodesy, Land Surveying, Geomatics Engineering, or Hydrographic Surveying;
- Applicants should have a Post Graduate Diploma in Land Surveying, Geodesy, Engineering Surveying, or Hydrographic Surveying;
- Applicants should be registered with the Surveyorsâ Registration Board (SRB).
Experience needed: Applicants should have a minimum of six years working experience, with three years at Senior Staff Surveyor level in Government. - Providing technical team leadership for effective quality control of survey programmes and activities;
