Join our team at SLS Solutions International Ltd as a Portfolio Manager and play a key role in managing and recovering outstanding debts while maintaining positive customer relationships. About Us At SLS Solutions International Ltd, we specialize in ethical, results-driven recovery of digital loans for banks, microfinance institutions, and fintech lenders. We're committed to professionalism, compliance, and innovation in everything we do. Key Responsibilities - Analyzing the composition of the assigned portfolios to assess risk levels, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize collection efforts.
- To review the assigned collection portfolio, divide and assign portfolios to the collection team in an equitable and effective manner.
- Developing and implementing collection strategies to maximize recovery rates while minimizing costs and risks.
- Support junior staff in achieving business objective through regular performance meetings.
- As a team member. participate in promoting the companyâs image through customer care and good customer relations while executing enshrined duties in accordance with the firmâs customer service charter.
- Strict adherence to the Recovery process and company policies as well as regulatory guidelines whilst at the same time ensuring proper adoption by the collections officers.
- Monitoring the performance of the debt collection team and individual collectors, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as collection rates, account resolution rates, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Generating regular reports on portfolio performance and collection activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making purposes.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, creditors, and other stakeholders to facilitate the resolution of debt accounts and ensure client satisfaction.
- Provide support & guidance to external service providers employed by the firm in relation to debt collections and related services (Auctioneers, Debt collectors, Lawyers etc.)
- Work collaboratively in achieving the firm's short. medium- and long-term financial objectives.
- Ensure proper cost management in the department so as to decrease the cost to recovery.
- Assist and participate in Internal and External audit reviews and also contribute to management responses.
Qualifications - A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or a related discipline is required. Minimum of 1-year experience in leadership and management activities.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in debt collection, and portfolio management.
- Good communication skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Good complaint management skills
