JOB DETAILS:
JOB SUMMARY
To managing all aspects of the maintenance department at the LPG plant

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Be responsible for the care and condition of all vehicles, plant tools and equipment issued, completing all related pre-use or scheduled safety inspections as required.
• Supervise proper cylinder refilling, bulk offloading and bulk loading
• Undertake and/or supervise operational staffs who are undertaking allocated repairs, renewals and other associated works to ensure they work within agreed timescales and to the required standard.
• Ensure that all necessary documentation and/or verbal reports relating to unsafe equipment are immediately communicated to their line manager, advising the line manager of any defects requiring repair, and to ensure that the equipment is stored or made safe in such a way as to not be used by a third party.
• Work to operational procedures, safe working practices and Health and Safety procedures and approved codes of practice as appropriate.
• Attend safety meetings, training and briefings as may be required.
• Be responsible for completing dynamic risk assessments when arriving at site, checking that the safety of themselves and/or others will not be compromised by completing the task.
• Ensure that all accident, non-conformance, near miss events or potential hazards are reported to their line manager immediately.
• Complete and sign off worksheets, time sheets, vehicle inspection forms, warning notices and any other forms as required.
• Monitor and report cylinder metal and bulk movement in the plant
• Estimate costs on equipment, systems and structures repair or replacement.
• Perform maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules.
• Strategize on maintenance, work instruction and methods.
• Oversee and control maintenance costs.
• Create & plan plant preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ensuring the company’s HSSEQ standards are enforced and maintained in liaison with the HSSEQ Manager
• Carry out any other duties assigned to you from time to time.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Min. 1-year experience in general maintenance operations
• Understanding of HSSEQ programs and ISO systems
• Excellent technical knowledge of equipment, products and processes
• Knowledge in Maintenance through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management system)
• High level of Integrity
• Strong Communication & Interpersonal skills
