Responsibilities or duties - Assess patients with physical impairments, injuries, or movement disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities (heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation).
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, posture, and injury prevention.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with medical officers, nurses, and occupational therapists for comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, progress notes, and outcome measures.
- Provide rehabilitation for post-surgical, stroke, orthopedic, and pediatric patients.
- Advise on mobility aids (crutches, walkers, wheelchairs) and ensure proper fitting.
