Job Description: Physical Education Teacher (Secondary School)

Reports to: Director of Studies / Head Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver PE lessons that develop physical fitness, skills, and sportsmanship.
• Organize intramural and inter-school sports competitions.
• Maintain sports equipment and facilities, ensuring safety standards.
• Train school teams in various sports disciplines.
• Promote a school-wide culture of health, wellness, and active living.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education or Sports Science.
• Proven experience in coaching at least two major sports (e.g., football, netball, athletics, volleyball).
• First Aid certification is a strong advantage.
• Energetic, motivational, and a strong role model for students.
