Pasteurized Liquid Line Supervisor Details Closing Date: 2026/10/29 Reference Number: DALI-2026-0055 Job Title: Pasteurized Liquid Line Supervisor Job Category: Processing Job Type: Full Time Location, Town / City: Nakasongola Job Description Provide end to end operational leadership over processing lines by monitoring pasteurization hold times, thermal charting, and liquid flow to bottling halls. Supervise shift personnel to ensure safe, accurate, and uninterrupted liquid processing in compliance with strict hygiene, quality, and output targets. Key Duties & Responsibilities - Monitor pasteurization hold times, thermal charting, and hot fill or aseptic liquid flow lines routed to bottling halls.
- Conduct flow diversion valve checks and oversee aseptic techniques to maintain validated process parameters.
- Allocate shift duties according to team competence, monitor task completion, and conduct structured shift handovers.
- Enforce strict adherence to approved operational procedures, cleaning rules, safety standards, and quality specifications without permitting informal shortcuts.
- Respond rapidly to production losses, equipment stoppages, and quality deviations by diagnosing root causes and implementing verified corrective actions.
- Maintain complete, traceable, and legible shift records, including machine settings, chart logs, test results, and incident reports for audits and handovers.
- Coordinate actively with maintenance, quality, and downstream bottling hall teams to prevent operational delays and downstream defects.
- Uphold occupational and food safety controls by enforcing required personal protective equipment usage, lockout/isolation procedures, and hazard reporting.
Skills - Thermal process validation and thermal chart interpretation
- Flow diversion valve verification and aseptic processing oversight
- Operational line troubleshooting and root cause problem solving
- Shift supervision, workload allocation, and team coaching
- Production interface navigation and digital technical record keeping
- Education Qualifications & Experience
- Education Qualifications
- Bachelorâs Degree, Higher Diploma, or Ordinary Diploma in Food Processing Technology, Chemical Engineering, Food Science and Technology, or Industrial/Production Engineering.
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quality Management, Operations Management, Agriculture, or Environmental Health.
Recognized TVET, UBTEB, or equivalent accredited technical, supervisory, or trade certifications combined with demonstrated practical processing capability.
