As we continue to grow, we seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Organizational Systems Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, optimize internal processes, and enhance efficiency across our programs and team.
Position Overview:
This dual-role position is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in operations, process improvement, and organizational systems. The Organizational Systems Manager will ensure smooth operations, manage key administrative functions, and support team productivity by designing and implementing workflows, tools, and structures to enhance efficiency and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage administrative functions, including budgeting, reporting, and resource allocation.
• Support HR functions, including onboarding, training, and staff coordination.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Assess current workflows and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement systems for data and finance management, communication, and project tracking.
• Create and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key functions.
• Train staff and volunteers on new systems and processes.
• Monitor and refine systems to ensure continuous improvement as the organization grows.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Strong background in operations management, process improvement, or organizational systems.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Notion) and CRM systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to optimize workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document processes clearly.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Prior experience in nonprofit operations or a mission-driven organization.
• Passion for nonprofit work and alignment with Rooted Wisdom Africa’s mission.
• Must be proficient in Luganda and English.
Preferred Experience:
• Familiarity with fundraising and donor management systems.
• Experience implementing new technology or software solutions for small teams.
