JOB DETAILS: Job Overview: Virtus Global Security Company Ltd is seeking a results-driven Procurement Manager to lead and oversee critical procurement processes. The successful candidate will bring a combination of international experience, local market expertise, and a proven track record in procurement management to contribute to the organization’s operational success. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Design and execute effective procurement policies to align with organizational goals and ensure efficiency. • Manage Procurement Processes: Oversee sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of goods and services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. • Supplier Relationship Management: Identify and engage reliable suppliers while fostering strong partnerships to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality goods and services. • Market Analysis and Optimization: Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed procurement decisions and improve operations. • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations throughout the procurement process. • Budget Monitoring: Track and manage procurement budgets, reporting on cost savings and efficiency improvements to upper management. • Record Maintenance and Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement records and provide regular, actionable reports to inform management decisions. • Collaboration and Forecasting: Work closely with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and develop plans to meet organizational requirements. Required Qualifications and Skills: 1. Educational Background: o Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 2. Technical Skills: o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software. o Familiarity with procurement processes, software, or ERP systems is a plus. 3. Work Experience: o Proven experience in procurement management, preferably in international companies. o A strong understanding of global procurement practices combined with knowledge of the local market. 4. Core Competencies: o Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. o Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous): • Professional certifications such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management). • Hands-on experience with ERP systems or procurement software to enhance efficiency and reporting.
