Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Manager to join our team in Kasangati Besigye Road. In this role, you will support our directors by coordinating human resources activities and guiding our workforce towards achieving organizational goals. You will thrive in a team-oriented environment while having the autonomy to make individual decisions.

Reports to: Director

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a crucial link between management and employees, addressing questions, administering contracts, and resolving work-related issues.
• Perform complex staffing duties such as managing understaffing, mediating disputes, and administering disciplinary procedures.
• Represent the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
• Identify staffing needs, recruit, interview, and select qualified applicants.
• Supervise and coordinate employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee duty activities.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Post-secondary Diploma in Tailoring or other related fields.
• Certificate in Tailoring is required.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Demonstrated skills in personnel resource management, judgment and decision making, social perceptiveness, coordination, and learning strategies.
• Knowledge of personnel and human resources, administration and management, education and training, customer and personal service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to advise managers on organizational policy matters.
• Familiarity with managing personnel resources and effective communication skills.
