He/she will ensure compliance with donor and organizational policies while strengthening systems, processes, and capacity to enable efficient and accountable program delivery. Your main duties and responsibilities will be: Partnership Support & Capacity Strengthening - Provide technical support to partner staff across Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Administration.
- Support partners in establishing and maintaining effective operational systems and procedures.
- Build capacity of partner staff through training, mentorship, and on-the-job support.
- Ensure alignment of partner operations with donor and organizational requirements.
Finance Support & Compliance - Support preparation, monitoring, and revision of the partner programme and support budgets.
- Review partner financial documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Support preparation and validation of partnerâs donor financial reports.
- Ensure strong internal controls and accountability mechanisms are in place.
- Guide partner staff on financial compliance and minimum standards.
Operations & Supply Chain Support - Support development and implementation of the partner procurement plans.
- Monitor procurement, logistics, warehousing, fleet, and asset management processes of the partner.
- Ensure timely and compliant procurement and delivery of goods and services.
- Identify operational risks, delays, bottlenecks, and escalate as necessary.
- Promote efficiency and value for money across supply chain activities.
Human Resource & Administrative Support - Support implementation of Partner HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff welfare.
- Ensure proper management of partner staff and incentive workers.
- Promote adherence to HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Compliance, Risk Management & Coordination - Ensure compliance with donor regulations, organizational policies, and local laws.
- Act as Code of Conduct focal point, including awareness, training, and reporting.
- Support coordination between partner programme and support services teams.
- Maintain awareness of the operational context and adapt support accordingly.
Reporting & Documentation - Ensure proper documentation and filing of operational and financial records of the partner.
- Contribute to internal and external reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in relevant systems.
- Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by the Head of Support Services or Area Manager.
About you To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in operations, supply chain, or finance with an International NGO. Moreover, we also expect the following. Required - Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Finance, Procurement & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of donor compliance requirements and financial controls.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, logistics, warehousing, fleet, and asset management.
- Experience working with partners and supporting capacity strengthening initiatives.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in complex and challenging environments.
- Willingness to be deployed at partner offices and work under demanding conditions.
- Knowledge of written & spoken English
Desirable - Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, ACCA, CPA)
