A Child-Centered Education NGO invites suitable candidates to apply for the above position which has fallen vacant. The organization is dedicated to providing charitable services to bright but vulnerable children and youth, in Uganda through education sponsorship and entrepreneurship skills development. It aspires to enhance children and youth’s protection, development, and growth into responsible citizens of Uganda. A suitable candidate is required to join the amazing team in supporting bright but vulnerable children and youth, achieve their full potential in life.
The Job Purpose is to provide overall clerical and administrative support to the organization in close consultation with the supervisor. The position will also have supervisory responsibility for three (3) positions and will support the management team in planning and budgeting.
Specific Responsibilities include Front office management, Office Administration, Communication and Records management and Stores Management.
Qualifications and Experience required are: 1. Diploma and/or Bachelor’s degree in Secretariat/Office Administration, Business Administration, Social Science or a related field. 2. Minimum of 3 years’ practical experience in Office Administration preferably within an NGO or non-profit setting. 3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools. 4. Knowledge of donor regulations and reporting requirements is an added advantage.
