Position Overview The Nursery Teacher will create a warm, nurturing, and stimulating early childhood learning environment, laying a solid foundation for young learners' social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and play-based learning activities that foster early literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Provide a safe, hygienic, and encouraging classroom environment suitable for toddlers and early-stage learners.
- Assess, track, and document children's developmental milestones and progress, sharing regular updates with parents.
- Manage classroom behavior with patience and positive reinforcement.
- Collaborate with early years specialists and school administrators to maintain the highest standards of early childhood education.
Requirements & Qualifications - A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development (ECD), Nursery Education, or a closely related field.
- Proven teaching experience in a reputable nursery or early childhood center.
- Excellent understanding of early childhood development theories, creative play, and child protection standards.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and storytelling skills.
- Alignment with the school's mission, vision, and core values.
