We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Nurse/Midwife to provide high-quality nursing and maternity care. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting patients throughout their treatment journey, providing safe clinical care, and promoting positive health outcomes. Key Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive nursing and midwifery care to patients.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs and clinical conditions.
- Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
- Assist with safe deliveries and provide emergency obstetric support when required.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on health, hygiene, maternal care, and newborn care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Support infection prevention and control procedures within the facility.
- Work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established clinical protocols.
- Maintain professional standards, patient confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
Qualifications & Requirements - Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Nursing and/or Midwifery from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration and practicing licence with the relevant professional council.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or maternity setting is an added advantage.
- Good clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
