Notice Of Sale By Public Bidding tender at International Rescue Committee (the IRC)

International Rescue Committee (the IRC) is a New York non-profit corporation, having an address at 122 East 42nd Street, New York, NY 10017. International Rescue Committee (the IRC) in Uganda is a lead responder to humanitarian and development needs of refugees and host communities through quality, client-centered, inclusive and integrated health, livelihoods, protection and education services that promote sustainability, resilience, peaceful co-existence, and partnerships. The IRC in Uganda maintains a Country Office in Kampala along with Field offices in Yumbe, Imvepi, Adjumani, Kiryandongo and Palorinya.

This notice of sale informs the public that the IRC will offer for sale by public bidding of the items listed in the table below.

These items may be inspected from 12th March 2026 to 28th March 2026, from 10:00am to 4:00pm East African Standard time at the locations below:

Interested bidders may download the bid documents with the detailed required information from the IRC Website: http://www.rescue.org/about/ procurement or request complete tender information using e-mail address UA-IRCKampala.Bidsrescue.org during office hours 9:00 AM - 4:00PM from 12th to 26th March 2026.

Offers to purchase must be received by the IRC in sealed envelopes no later than March 26, 2026, 4:00PM East African Standard Time. Submitted offers will be opened and reviewed by the IRC on March 30, 2026 10:30AM East African Standard Time and the successful bidders will be informed the same day.

Send sealed offers to the IRC for the attention of the Supply Chain Department. Mark the envelope “Offer of Purchase of Disposal Assets”. Note that any unsealed offers will be rejected by the IRC.

The Public Bidding exercise shall be conducted in accordance with the disposal procedures as per IRC Uganda policy.

Payment shall be made within two working days after receipt of the notification from IRC. If the best evaluated/notified bidder fails to complete payment by this deadline, the offer will be given to the second-highest bidder and the third-highest bidder in that order (if he/she is above the reserve price).

IRC Uganda is not bound to accept the highest or lowest or any bid.
